A Few of Our Past Events
Virtual Silent Auction (April 2021)
Typically held in-person, we held our annual Gala in the form of a virtual silent auction in 2021. Participants bid online for a variety donated items.
Panda Express
(April 2021)
A portion of every meal purchased at Panda Express in the name of SHH UMD was donated.
Cultural Night
(April 2021)
In this COVID-year social event, members gathered virtually to learn about Honduran culture, history and food.
SHH March Madness (March 2021)
Participants constructed their March Madness brackets in hopes of being the most accurate.
SHHuper Bowl Square Pool (February 2021)
Participants purchased spots on a Super Bowl Squares grid, hoping to win a prize by ending up with a square matching the halftime/final score.
SHH Formal
(December 2020)
Typically in-person, we held our annual formal over Zoom in 2020. Members dressed up, played games, and had fun!
WoodSHHtock (November 2019)
We organized and sold tickets to a benefit concert featuring local artists, with part of the proceeds going towards SHH.
Thrift SHHop (November 2019)
An SHH staple, we collected donations of old clothing and ran our own thrift shop!
Dodgeball Tournament (September 2019)
We gathered with friends for some good ole' fashioned dodgeball and a good cause!
