Dan is a marvel! I went to see him with a long-standing running injury. He took an extremely thorough history, tested various muscle groups and gave me exercises to do at home. At the end of a one- hour session, I already felt dramatically better. Two months later, I'm training for a marathon!

Dan has helped me 3 times with various issues and each and every time he’s really understood the issue and got to the root of the problem so quickly. I see him a bit like a magician! Would recommend his services without any hesitation

I can't recommend Dan highly enough - let me explain.I've seen Dan about a number of recurring tennis-related injuries. This includes a calf injury, and right should / tennis elbow. The calf injury had plagued me for years. Instead of massaging the calf (as other physios did) Dan looked at the hip and worked on that. Bingo. It's never been an issue again. The right shoulder and tennis elbow have now improved drastically and, critically, Dan made me realise the importance of certain exercises / strengthening to prevent injury. Dan also advised me on alternative serve technique which has proven invaluable.Professional competence aside, when I go to see Dan I feel like there's someone willing me on to recover. This is very encouraging on so many levels as being out of sport can be disheartening but Dan's broader support and advice ensures you reframe your mind in a positive way.

Brilliant! Daniel was recommended by a friend who he’d already helped. I hobbled in to the room in agony and walked out loads better. He explained what he was doing and what to expect and predicted where he would find problems etc. He also gave useful advice on pain relief. He put adhesive strapping on to my skin and applied vigorous vibrations with a massage gun. My wife watched and said the look on my face as I realised I could move again was priceless. It gave me almost instant relief and gave me confidence to move more normally. Not cured but able to function and allowed injury to heal itself. I would definitely recommend to anyone with difficulties with movement.

I was introduced to Dan just over four years ago after contacting Birmingham Movement Therapy due to a sports related knee injury. The treatment and daily exercises that he recommended fixed the problem very quickly. Since then I’ve joined the Strength and Conditioning classes that they run. Dan and the team at Birmingham Movement Therapy are great educators. Attending the S and C classes, plus the odd bit of treatment from Dan when required has taught me so much about the body and keeping fit and healthy. As a result I’m fitter than I’ve ever been and have a good understanding of how to treat any minor niggles that occur through sport or general day to day life. Dan, thank you so much!

Whether you're in the Birmingham area or not, Dan is your man to guide you back from injury to strength and fitness, and help you achieve your goals. Quick, thorough and well explained diagnoses of your problems and he gets straight to work putting a recovery plan together. The strength and conditioning classes are also great value for money, he'll always be able to see what you're doing and help you improve. The classes are a small group of people so it doesn't get crowded. Highly recommend Dan to anybody with any injury problems or just wanting to get fitter and stronger.

Camille Bey Psychomotricienne Londres
Camille Bey is our 8 year old son's Occupational Therapist for over a year now and we are very happy with the care she gives him. Camille is very professional, she also keeps the parents informed with progress and suggestions. Our son loves going to see her on a weekly bases and never complains about his sessions even if these can sometimes be challenging and require his focus and attention when these are the hardest thing for him to do given his ADHD. Camille listens to his needs and always finds a way to reward his efforts and motivates him to continue improve his writting, his posture, his spacial awareness, his coordination... I am happy to recommend Camille's services

I recently visited Dan for severe shoulder pain that was restricting my movement and affecting my sleep. He was able to quickly identify what was going on and provided treatment during the same session. As well as relieving the intensity of my pain, Dan also provided me with exercises that would help me address the underlying issue.Dan is always professional and friendly, and I would recommended him anyone experiencing pain or in need of sports therapy.
